Princess don’t you know who you are?

The world can be a cruel place. People can be awful to one another. It all seems so unfair sometimes. But at the end of the day, when you go to sleep at night, what do you think about?

Do you think about how many calories you consumed in the day? Or how many times you secretly purged? Do you wonder how much weight you gained? Or how you’ll get rid of those last few pounds? What clothes make you look thinner? Will they notice you’ve lost anything? Will they notice the scars? Will they notice how lost you are, how broken you are inside? Will they see through that fake smile? 

Princess, dont you know who you are?

Most of the time they wont notice. Because ‘you’ve’ trained yourself so well on how to hide it. You can smile, you act normal, you can laugh and sing and dance. But when they leave all those thoughts linger again and then you cant act normal. You stop seeing them. You lost your voice to sing. You physically cant dance. You cant run. Heck, you cant even walk or stand for too long without fainting or collapsing. Your every thought is consumed by this other voice. “Keep going, they dont understand, they want you to be fat”. I can tell you right now they would much rather see a true and pure smile from you, then visit in you in hospital for the fourth time. They may not understand, and they probably never will. But you know what? God knows more than ANYONE else! He knows the most about this I promise. And once you give it to Him your life will change, forever. 

Princess, dont you know who you are?

Think about your dreams in life. Where you’d truly like to be. Will being thin and ‘beautiful’ really make you happy? Princess this doesnt make you beautiful, it wont ever give you control. One day you’ll wake up and realise you’ve lost it all. But I promise you that things can change, there is life without this. All you have to do is make that decision for yourself. Be the change you want and need. As you start to let go of this, get that voice out of your head, you will discover who you are. Without even knowing you, I know you are beautiful. I know you’re hilarious, I know you have an incredible smile. I know you deserve more than starving yourself. You’re worth more than your head in a toilet bowl. You deserve to eat. You need to eat. You need to be healthy. You are loved. In fact, you are wonderful! You have so much to give, and so much to be! How can you be all of that when your life and mind is preoccupied with something like this? This a slow and miserable form of suicide, and I love you too much to let you go. You have incredible purpose, and God needs you to stick around. Don’t give up trying; once you reach the end of yourself, God steps in and He takes control- that’s when the real change will happen. Never lose that Hope either darling. Hope will keep you here. 

“When we know who we are, we no longer need permission from other people to do something great with our lives”. You are all together lovely. I promise.
